Service Planning Steps
- Identify a nonprofit, school, or community-approved service site.
- Confirm pre-approval with RCCS staff before beginning service hours.
- Track dates, hours, and activities as you complete service work.
- Submit documentation by the deadline communicated by your advisor.
- Complete any required reflection or follow-up assignment.
Qualifying Activities
- School-sponsored events and service projects
- Community nonprofit volunteering
- Peer mentoring and tutoring programs
- Local civic or community-improvement projects
- District-approved outreach and support events
Documentation & Deadlines
- Keep a signed service log with hours and supervisor verification.
- Retain contact information for site supervisor(s).
- Submit forms according to RCCS grading-period timelines.
- Confirm service-hour expectations with your counselor each year.
- Save copies of submitted records for your own files.
